PA 12 at seaplane pond Juneau

I have been working with Jarad to get his seaplane rating intermittently during the summer. He was ready and the weather  was cooperating so we took off for Juneau on Friday. His check-ride was at 6:00 AM on Saturday. I stayed at the hotel sleeping. The check ride went off without a hitch and Jarad got his SES rating.

This is the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. We got a crew car and drove there (about 10 minutes from the airport).

Enroute to Ketchikan we made a slight detour to the left to fly over the Le Conte Glacier between Petersburg and Wrangell.
